There are a lot of words and abbreviations that get thrown around in the fitness industry, and it’s hard to keep track of them all!
For example, if I told you to do 10 reps of a DB bench press, 10 reps of a KB SA KB OH press, and 10 reps of BW jump squats for AMRAP with 3 burpees EMOM, would you know what to do?
Maybe not, and that’s okay! I don’t want unfamiliar vocab to deter anyone from their workout, so I decided to compile a list of what I think are some of the most essential fitness terms to have an understanding of in one place. Consider this your personal glossary of fitness terms to reference when you’re feeling unsure of what a workout is telling you to do!
